I have a wide range of counselling experience, including for the Department of Family & Community Services and Aged Care sectors. where I worked with some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
I always felt it was a privilege to be able to help and support these families and young people through a framework of collaboration, advocation and self-empowerment.
Operating my own counselling practice brings the benefit of being able to spend more time focusing on helping clients achieve their goals with fewer constraints than in a public health environment.
I have also worked in the Disability and Out of Home Care Sectors providing counselling to both individuals and groups that included adults and children.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP).
