Services & Technique

Anyone can experience times of psychological anguish, relationship difficulties or develop an over reliance on substances such as drugs and alcohol that can become an addiction. However not everyone has someone they can turn to for help or wants to share their worries or struggles with friends or family.

The mere thought of sharing your inner most secrets can bring up feelings of fear, shame and embarrassment. Many people do not feel confidant to approach others to discuss issues within their personal or professional relationships.

Family and Domestic violence is escalating in society any many suffer in silence out of fear, cultural expectation or due to the lack of a support network. Physical and mental abuse is traumatic whether experienced at home or in the workplace. It can be intimidating to approach family members or work colleagues to bring it out into the open so the environment can be changed.

Drug and Alcohol misuse can seriously impact the quality of life of not only the individual using them but all those close to them. It’s important to understand the underlying causes for addiction are primarily genetic and environmental.

Engaging with a professional Counsellor for support to work through your worries and challenges so you can live the life you want is no different than going to see the doctor for a physical aliment you may be experiencing.

Together we will work through whatever issues you want to address in a safe and secure environment using evidence-based counselling theories and techniques.
