A free 15-minute phone consultation can be booked prior to booking by calling 0439 053 116 to discuss your needs and determine if Kathleen is the right Counsellor for you.
Confidentiality Agreement:
As a professional counsellor Kathleen is required to attended supervision with a qualified Counsellor. During these sessions issues and intervention strategies are discussed to ensure you are receiving an ethical and high-quality service. Please be assured that no personal information is disclosed at these sessions that could identify you as a client.
Information collected prior or during your counselling sessions is protected under the Privacy Act 1988. However, The Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and Mandatory Reporting regulations identify exceptions overriding the Privacy Act that include:
- Disclosure of Child Abuse and/or Neglect
- Disclosure to harm yourself
- Disclosure to harm another person
- Records are subpoenaed by a court
Fees & Payments:
Payment is required prior to your session this is not negotiable.
Appointments are scheduled at $90 per 1 hour for individuals or $150 per 1 hour for 2 participants. If there are more than 2 participants, please contact Kathleen prior to making a booking to discuss service suitability and fees.
Payment can be made via direct debit. After payment is made please email reference information immediately. In considering your privacy please inform the service if you use a reference identifier other than your full name to ensure payments are allocated to the correct client.
Cancellation Policy:
24 hours’ notice prior to cancelling your session is required. Cancellations can be made via the calendar that you initially booked an appointment.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given no refund will be provided.
Refund Policy:
A full refund will be offered in the event your counselling session is cancelled by Kathleen. Refunds will only be issued to the person that made the initial payment.
Alternatively, you may wish to reschedule to another available appointment of your choice in which case a refund will not be provided.
Complaints & Feedback:
If at any time you have concerns about your counselling experience, please discuss them immediately with Kathleen. Feedback is welcome and will be taken onboard to ensure a high-quality service is being delivered.
Issues or Concerns with Technology:
As this is an on-line service issues with technology may occur from time to time. If at the time of your session you experience difficulties connecting via your link stay calm and email or call Kathleen immediately to discuss the situation. Continue trying to connect to Zoom using the original link.
If this link continues to be unsuccessful a new link will be sent to you. If Kathleen experiences any technical issues, she will contact you immediately to discuss a mutually suitable solution to resolve the issue.
